I posted another funny time-lapse movie, this one from the day of my artist's reception (Sunday Sep 9 2007).
For those of you who are curious about how this is done, here are the techie details...
- I placed my old video camera (Sony TRV900) on a mini tripod high above the gallery floor.
- I configured it so it recorded 1/2 second of video every 60 seconds throughout the day.
- Once we got back home and recovered, I imported the video (about five minute's worth) into Final Cut Pro and sped it up again by a factor of six, then exported it to Quicktime's H.264 format.
